Marlene is a full-time nurse and still finds time to come out to the garden. She tends to her box regularly,making sure its taken care of even while out on vacation. She has also recurited a new member for the garden. Let's give our thanks to Marlene for being a great volunteer for the month of July!

Family Day at Wise Words Community Garden
Saturday, July 31st, 6 to 8 pm

Bring your family out to enjoy the beautiful, park-like atmosphere at Wise Words Community Garden. This is a great time to see and meet the many faces of members and volunteers who have worked to beautify our community gardens throughout the city.

Raising Chickens Classes

Every 3rd Thursday of the Month Beginning in August
8 am to 10 am
Come and learn all about raising chickens and how to get the best eggs. Classes are free to Members and $10 for Non-Members.
